Phillip Archer Golf Professional
European Tour and Challenge Tour Player
I have a passion for all competitive sports, I was a keen footballer as a kid, I then switched to golf at the age of 15 with a handicap of 12, having played now and again from the age of 8. By the time I was 16 I was off +1 and realised this was what I wanted to do!
I have achieved most of the things I set out to do in my 23 years full time playing the game of golf and I have competed on the biggest of stages with best players in the world.
I have witnessed and collected many great memories and skills over the years, from players I have played with to coaches I have worked with. To be able to pass these experiences on is something I’m very much looking forward to in the future. I have strong beliefs in the golf swing from what I’ve worked on in my years of playing, however, I also believe that one technique is not for all, each person comes in all shapes and sizes. It is for these reasons I will endeavour to improve whatever is in front of me no matter what standard of player walks in.
Look forward to meeting you whoever you are.

The swing that made the Tour
One of the key things that I always work on is alignment, as you can see the club on the floor just inside the ball. It gives a great reference point for not only alignment of the body to the target but it helps to keep the club shaft and club head in the correct position relative to the target in my swing.
